It’s the last race of the 2013 season tomorrow and hopefully we can go out in style with some winners tomorrow. Moto 3 1st and think Salom will win the race and also take the championship at the same time. Moto 2 up next and think Espargaro will win easy but not going to tip at 4/7 so gone for a Jordi Torres Top 3 finish as he’s been really quick through the last 2 practice sessions and hopefully will easily get on the podium, lastly Moto GP and took me ages to decide between Pedrosa and Marquez, think Marquez should win and can’t see him settling for 4th place as that’s all he needs to win the title, he’s a racer and sure he’ll be battling for the win as usual, he has pace to win lets just hope he does. Also done a 4 fold which pays nearly 30/1. I’m looking forward to tomorrows racing and good luck if you follow.

That’s Moto GP finished for another weekend and didn’t do so bad on a really difficult weekend, only losing 1PT. Moto 3 we were so close to both tips winning and would of put us into profit as M.Vinales ended up 2nd and just lost out to A.Marquez but 2 hundreths of a second. Folger got on the podium for us at 18/1 but was a bit lucky with Rins crashing out, Moto 2 we had the race winner with Espargaro and place money with Luthi 12/1 but the main race Pedrosa was a let down, really thought he’d win easy but Lorenzo was only 1 of the top 3 riders who selected the softer rear tyre and I think that won him the race as the soft tyre offers more grip if it lasts the race distance, which it did and Lorenzo won easy in the end. 1 more race weekend left now in Moto GP and that’s it for motorcyle racing for 2013, hopefully it’ll be dry all weekend in Valencia the final round which is in 2 weeks time. Hope to end the season with a nice win, see you in 2 weeks

My write up before the races started, now moved to bottom of page as always
“Again another really tough weekend to tip as Motegi has had a lot of fog this weekend which meant the helicopter that takes riders to hospital if they crash and get injured just couldn’t land due to the fog, so there’s been no practice just 1 qualifying session in the wet, tomorrow is meant to be dry as well. I’ve gone for Pedrosa in the main race as he won at Motegi last year by 4.2 seconds and in 2011 he won by 7.2 seconds so he obviously loves the place and flies there. Hopefully the Spaniard can win the race for us at a decent price. Moto 3 and Moto 2 had to go back through the times from the last 2 years and noticed in Moto 3 Vinales and Folger are strong round Motego but it’s so difficult due to no practice this year, also Moto 2 went back through last couple of years times and gone for Luthi and Espargaro. Hopefully we’ll have a few winners tomorrow on a very tricky weekend to tip.”
This weekends racing is over and has been my worse weekend tipping ever, every single tip lost and plagued with bad luck. Moto 3 Folger was leading last lap at 9/1 and Salom barged past him costing him loads of time and put him out the chance for the win, also Salom was unlucky on last lap and got overtaken and slowed up. Next Moto 2 and Rabat had pace to win but ran off track early in the race which was reduced to just 12 laps meaning he hadn’t got time to close down leaders and Kallio never turned up just wonder whether his hand injure was affecting him to much, Moto GP and Pedrosa was flying on his No1 bike but tyres weren’t lasting and organisers thought it would be a good idea to swap bikes mid race and Pedrosa said after his No1 bike felt class but soon as he swapped bikes his No2 bike didn’t feel as good and he could ride as fast as on his other bike, he came 2nd, Lorenzo won. British Superbikes Race 1 Shane Byrne was no good at all in the wet weather and ended up 3rd behind Lowes, then British Superbikes Race 2 and Byrne fell off on the intermediate tyre in the wet, Brookes went on to win the race as well on the intermediate tyre. World Superbikes Race 1 and neither selection turned up and ended up 5th and 6th doing nowhere near the times they were doing in practice. World Superbikes Race 2 ended a bad day with the tip Sykes finishing 2nd behind Laverty. Massive loss of -26PTs after last weeks +67PTs profit don’t matter to much but been a frustating weekend and can’t wait for next weekend now and more Moto GP

My write up before the races started “There’s loads of racing this weekend 3 British Superbikes races, 3 Moto GP races and 2 World Superbike races, 1st race is British Superbikes Race 1 which in on Saturday at 3:30pm and all the rest of the races are on Sunday. Moto 3 had been really difficult to predict this weekend as there’s lots of riders going quickly but got for Salom who always seems to perform better on race day and he got pole but won’t be easy, also thought Folger at big odds was worth a small each way bet as he’s also been right on the pace all weekend. Moto 2 is just as difficult but got for Mr.Consitent himself Esteve Rabat and think he can win again tomorrow beating his teammate. Also Kallio has been right on the pace all weekend but had a bad qualfying and fell off ending up 6th on the grid but again worth small each way bet at massive odds. Moto GP everyone will think Lorenzo will win, which he might but Pedrosa for me. I’ve got a feeling the Yamahas big corner speed will wear out the tyres towards the end of the race and the Hondas will come good, Pedrosa topped free practice 3 and 4 and won last weekend and hopefully he can do it again for us. Gone for Shane Byrne in British Superbikes Race 1 as he loves Brands Hatch, it’s his local track and he won all 3 races there last year but the track is wet and anything could happen but think Byrne can still win”

More racing next weekend with 8 more races, 3 British Superbike Races from Brands Hatch and 2 World Superbikes Races from Jerez, plus Moto GP from Phillip Island 3 races. This was my write up before the races started, as always moved to the bottom of page after the races have finished “Gone for Dani Pedrosa in the main race at a great price as it’s now Friday morning when I’m writing this and Pedrosa has dominated both practice sessions so far and when Pedrosa’s quick from the word go it’s always a good thing and can see him winning Sunday easily but never count out his team mate Marquez, Pedrosa had a bad qualifying and ended up 5th on the grid but still think he’ll win. Moto 3 is really hard to predict this weekend due to lack of dry track time for the Moto 3 bikes but gone for Salom after he lead free practice 3 and qualified in pole position. Moto 2 and I’m sure Rabat will win after dominating every practice session and getting pole position. Races are really early Sunday morning as the racing is in Malaysia, Sepang”
This weekends racing has finished and we were so unlucky not to end up with a profit as Lowes lost out on Race 2 to Byrne by a few thousandths of a second and it was that close I thought he’d won it over the line, ended up the weekend with 0 points profit or loss. Moto GP next weekend.

My write up before the race weekend started “This weekend 4 races in total, 2 British Superbikes Races from Silverstone and 2 World Superbikes races from Magny Cours. British Superbikes had to go with Alex Lowes again as he has been quickest in most practice sessions and also won both races at Silverstone last year, price isn’t great but hopefully he should win. World Superbikes is a real lottery this weekend and so difficult to tip because every single practice session the track had been different, sometimes wet, sometimes dry and sometimes inbetween. This makes it hard as there’s no form to go off and not sure what the weather will do tomorrow in Magny Cours. I’m going to wait until the morning to tip World Superbikes Race 1 so I can see what the weather is like, keep an eye on my twitter feed in the morning for updates. I have had a look at weather it’s now 20 minutes before Race 1 starts while I’m writing this and it’s dry at the minute and decided to go for Sylvain Guintoli in Race 1 as he’s had good pace through practice and I think the race will be between him and Sykes and it’s Guintoli’s home track as well which is always a bonus”
This weekends racing is now over & had a decent weekend which started off with World Superbikes & Chaz Davies who after the race re-started a few times lead most the race but couldn’t keep with Sykes when he passed him & ended up 2nd landing each way money. My tip Rins won as expected in Moto 3 but think Vinales in 2nd missed a gear down the straight last lap which helped us, then my Moto 2 tip Terol won easy, he rode a class race. That was 3 out 3 tips won and started the weekend perfectly, next Moto GP Pedrosa was looking really strong in 2nd place & sure he would of won as he had a harder front tyre than the other 2 he was battling with (Lorenzo and Marquez), the harder tyre would of come good later in the race for Pedrosa but then Marquez touched Pedrosa slightly & according the reports on the internet damaged a sensor which caused Pedrosa’s traction control to fail out the corner causing him to crash, we were so unlucky on this one but hope Pedrosa is OK but feel really sorry for him as think it was his catch to win the race and beat his team mate. Lastly World Superbikes Race 2 didn’t gone according to plan, Guintoli had a bad race ending up 5th but still +14.3 PTs profit for the weekend.

I’ve selected my Moto GP tips and firstly Moto 3 and can’t see past a Rins win again as he dominated qualifying and was nearly 3 quarters of a second quicker than the 2nd place Vinales, Rins has been quick all weekend as usual and really fancy him to win again. Next Moto 2 and Terol has been fastest in 3 of the 4 practice sessions and in my opinion should be favourite to win, I’ve tipped him and he has the pace to win but he hasn’t had a win for a while but still think he’ll do it. The main race Moto GP and gone for Pedrosa as he won the race from Aragon last year and is due a win and is only rider I think who has a chance of beating Marquez round this track and expect Repsol Honda’s to finish 1st and 2nd as Hondas seem to have a slight advantage over the Yamahas on this track.
British Superbikes from Assen has finished now and had a decent weekend with 2 winners out the 3 tips put up. Only 2 races and 6.5PTS profit with Lowes doing the double again. Next week Moto GP !!

This was my write up from before the races started as always moved to the bottom of the page once the races have ended “British Superbikes this Sunday comes from Assen and Alex Lowes has been on fire all weekend and has been quickest in all 3 practice sessions and qualifying, hence I’ve gone for Lowes in Race 1, the price isn’t great but hopefully he should win. P.J.Jacobsen has also had really good pace through the first 3 practice sessions and was 2nd to Lowes, he starts way down the grid though in 18th after qualifying, hoping he can get a good start and maybe grab a podium at a big price each way but small stakes as it’s a big ask”.
Total disaster of a weekend after hours of studying times could only manage 1 winner out of 6 tips, absolutely gutted and small loss of -3.5pts but we’ll move onto next race weekend now and hopefully have a good weekend!

This was my write up before the races started, as always moved to the bottom of the page “It’s an action packed weekend with World Superbikes from Istanbul, Turkey and Moto GP from San Marino, Italy. World Superbikes first and been hardly any dry track time during practice making it really hard to predict but I’ve gone for Guintoli as he’s been quick in the dry and think he’s got a good chance of the race win. Next up Moto 3 and Rins has been consistently quick all weekend and hopefully he can do the business for us but no doubt the Moto 3 race will be close as ever. Moto 2 next and for me Rabat has been the stand out rider in every practice session more or less and is far more consistent that every other rider, he is my choice and my most confident pick of the day, lastly Moto GP and Rossi’s home GP and he’s been on the pace through most practice sessions, don’t think he’s got the pace to beat Marquez but you never know as Rossi always goes better in the race than practice, big gamble but think Rossi will have a good race and gone each way so he needs to finish in the top 2 for place money, big ask I know but just got a feeling he’ll have a class race.”
Bit of bad luck in Race 1 with Bridewell’s engine failing as he came 3rd in Race 2 but Lowes won Race 2 for us giving a small profit of +2.5 PTS for today.

It’s been a really difficult weekend to predict the winner due to limited dry track time during practice but I’m going for a bit of a gamble and going for the improving Tommy Bridewell in Race 1 who is really impressing me now he’s on the Kawasaki and got a feeling he could win here as his times have been good all weekend, will be difficult though with all top riders fighting for championship points.
